About The Position

As a Microbiology Technician at Aculabs, you will play a key role in performing and monitoring laboratory testing to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant results in accordance with HIPAA and CLIA regulations. Requirements

MLT or MT certification (Bachelor's in Microbiology/Biology is a plus)
MD, DO, DPM with current license in the State of the laboratory's location.
PhD in Clinical Laboratory Science or another medically similar science field.
MS in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or chemical, physical, or biological science.
BS in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or chemical, physical, or biological science.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow laboratory protocols
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's in Microbiology/Biology is a plus

Responsibilities

Monitors test analyses and examinations to ensure only acceptable levels of analytic performance are reported.
Monitors the status of daily patient testing
Perform a variety of routine non-technical duties and assist technical and professional personnel in conducting tests, determinations, and experiments in clinical laboratories.
Identifies problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results
