About The Position

We are seeking a motivated, self-starter to join our team at Technical Services as a Microbiology Intern. Duties include but are not limited to: Media preparation, anaerobic tube counts, plate counts, sugar sampling, wastewater, and special survey samples. PCR special projects. Chemistry work including NIR, polarimeter, refractometer, etc. Other project work that may become available. The ideal student will be at least a sophomore in an undergraduate microbiology, biotechnology, biology, or related science program and have laboratory experience/coursework. Extremely flexible schedule, typically between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Chosen candidate must have a minimum of 12-15 hours available per week. Training will be provided. Requirements
