About The Position

The Microbiology Intern will provide support to the Quality Control Microbiology Laboratory for Exela Pharma Sciences’ sterile manufacturing facility.

Priority consideration will be given to candidates who are in their final year of study or have recently completed their degree.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related scientific field.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques
• Ability to multi-task; work under pressure and time constraints
• Must be flexible and able to adapt to changes in task priority
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work positively and collaboratively are a must.

Nice To Haves

• Sterile gowning and media fill qualifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Effectively follow SOPs and company policies
• Conduct routine environmental monitoring, including but not limited to surface, active air, passive air, water for injection, and personnel.
• Capture, record, analyze, and archive raw data.
• Perform duties and responsibilities as requested by Management and Microbiologists II.
