About The Position

The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for the operation of the assigned area of the Quality Assurance department. This position plans, develops and directs quality assurance operations and programs.

Requirements

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Good interpersonal skills and an ability to be professional and ethical at all times.
Ability to understand complex operations from a broad perspective.
Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Bachelor’s degree and eight (8) years related experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
Five (5) years supervisory or leadership experience required.

Nice To Haves

Prior Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Manages departmental resources to ensure appropriate levels of support are provided.
Maintains expense and labor expenditures within company budgetary guidelines.
Implements and manages the internal audit program to ensure adherence to company and customer quality procedures and standards.
Monitors performance against applicable standards and procedures.
Oversees the development of processes for improving quality.
Supervises assigned quality assurance personnel.
Meets with regulatory, supplier, customer, and company personnel to discuss and resolve quality problems as required.
Prepares for and represents the company during all related audits.
