Manages AMG performance improvement activities by designing animplementing procedures to ensure that all AMG are in compliance with applicable State and Federal statues pertaining to health care regulations including but not limited to, The Joint Commission, MIPS, HEDIS reporting. Assumes responsibility for quality initiatives and supports the development and implementation of quality improvement interventions. Monitors and evaluates all reporting modalities. Responsibilities

  • Participates in the development, revision and implementation of procedures and procedures related to Quality Performance Improvement, The Joint Commission, and MIPS standards and initiatives.
  • Coordinates the preparation and submission of response or corrective action plans and follow up with Quality Management and MIPS teams or any other accreditation or regulatory bodies as required.
  • Serves as point person for internal and external project communications; ensuring that project milestones, completion dates, and other significant matters are communicated on a regular basis to team members and stakeholders.
  • Provides training to staff on tools, team approach root cause analysis to measure processes, assess performance, and identify opportunities for improvement and follow-up with identified actions
  • Audits and evaluates the clinical effectiveness of performance improvement initiatives through data management, analysis; prepares reports of findings or recommendations to leadership.
  • Collaborates with commercial payers and AMG leadership, clinicians and practice staff in closing the gaps in care for HEDIS reporting and any other commercial payer quality initiatives.
  • Prepares and reviews physician quality contract metrics in collaboration with service lines and physician leadership
