About The Position

We’re looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to lead operations across a diverse portfolio including offices, industrial spaces, conference centers, and outdoor environments. In this role, you’ll guide teams and vendors, ensure safe and efficient day-to-day operations, and support long-term planning. You’ll also serve as the primary emergency contract, responding immediately to critical events across multiple communications channels. If you enjoy leading teams, solving complex challenges, and working in a fast-paced environment, this is your chance to make a real impact! Occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays are required.

Requirements

  • Nine or more years of experience in facilities management, facility maintenance, construction management, project controls, project management, work package management, process improvement, quality control or other relevant experience, including five or more years in facilities management and two or more years supervisory experience.
  • A degree(s) in facilities management, architecture, construction management, project management, business, engineering or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
  • Driver's license

  • Strong understanding of facilities management practices and building mechanical systems.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, facilitate effective communication, and strategically resolve complex problems.
  • Skilled in negotiation, conflict resolution, and customer service.
  • Experience in operational excellence during standard and emergency situations.

Responsibilities

  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety policies.
  • Ensure all maintenance, repairs, inspections, and tenant requests are completed and properly documented.
  • Establish operational plans, priorities, and procedures for assigned sites.
  • Develop scopes of work for projects, maintenance activities, and vendor contracts.
  • Assist with vendor contract development and administration (janitorial, landscaping, waste/recycling, etc.).
  • Develop and execute emergency response plans for weather events, system failures, and other emergencies in coordination with safety teams.
