University of New Mexico–Los Alamos (UNM–LA) is a branch campus of University of New Mexico located in Los Alamos. The campus provides accessible higher education, including associate degrees, certificates, dual credit programs, and non-credit workforce development opportunities that support regional workforce and economic needs. The campus is currently undergoing several major construction and facility improvement projects aimed at modernizing infrastructure and expanding capacity to support future growth. The Facilities Manager will play a significant role in the project management of these construction initiatives and will be a key contributor to the continuation and successful completion of ongoing campus renovation efforts. Under limited supervision, manages all aspects of the integrated UNM Los Alamos campus of the University occupying multiple buildings. Oversees the supervision of a limited workforce engaged in activities associated with the operations, maintenance, and housekeeping of the component's various facilities. Plans, oversees, and coordinates the implementation of construction and capital improvement projects, and directly participates in overall facilities planning for the UNM Los Alamos campus. Serves as the primary 24/7 contact for the intrusion/security company and local law enforcement. This position is eligible for a $5,000 hiring incentive.
