The Engineering Manager is responsible for providing leadership on the engineering, strategic and technical direction for various large-scale projects within an area of responsibility. This role may handle both our internal and external resources, while upholding safety as the highest priority! Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • a minimum of 10 years of engineering, operations or related experience
  • a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a lead project role(s)
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
  • Detailed understanding of engineering design regulatory standards

Responsibilities

  • Provides both tactical and strategic direction for the department and projects
  • Holds team accountable for performing all work in accordance with requirements and standards
  • Coordinates workforce planning and career development activities for direct employees
  • Manages resources requirements for projects
  • Develops/handles budgets, plan and forecasts; conducts regular cost analysis
  • Serves as a lead, subject matter specialist or change agent to support our critical programs and initiatives
  • Develops and maintains collaborative working relationship with our key business partners
  • Other duties as assigned
