To learn more visit https://www.doctorshosplaredo.com Job Summary: Oversees that Food and Nutrition Service personnel meet overall standards in personnel and food safety policies and procedures . Coordinates overall special functions, training and evaluations of staff. Plans, organizes and implement strategies and goals for activities and projects of the Food and Nutrition Department. Utilizing hospital/department resources in maintaining productivity and budget standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
Dietary Manager Association Certification and/or associate's degree in Restaurant Management with five years managerial experience in healthcare food service required.

Responsibilities

Leads personnel in positive performance and complete 90 day and annual reviews.
Makes decisions in stressful situations and maintain control to promote service excellence.
Trains, counsels, motivates, and helps staff in meeting hospital vision/mission goals.
Completes daily inspections for all service areas and corrects problem areas.
Oversees staff schedules to provide adequate staffing and supervision to meet TDH and TJC requirements for personnel competence in food service provision.
