About The Position

Staples' Human Resources team aims to create solutions and services that foster an inclusive and innovative culture, acting as strategic partners to deliver learning and development opportunities, compensation and benefit solutions, and recruiting tools. As Communications Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies that engage employees and support business goals. This role involves shaping company messaging, connecting teams to strategic objectives, and ensuring consistent branding across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or a related field – or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 6+ years of professional communications experience
  • Experience serving as a strategic communications partner to senior leaders and functional teams
  • Proven ability to lead complex communications initiatives end-to-end with significant cross-functional leadership
  • Advanced writing and editing skills across formats and channels

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting technology, risk, security, operations, digital, or large-scale transformation initiatives
  • Experience using or integrating AI and modern digital tools into communications workflows
  • Background in data-informed communications measurement and continuous improvement
  • Master’s degree in Communications, Business, or a related discipline
