MGR CLINICAL APPS INPATIENT, FCH - CLIN APPLICATIONS - INPATIENT
About The Position
We are seeking a leader to manage various Epic teams including Clin Doc, Stork, Case Management, ASAP, and Rehab. The ideal candidate for this role should have a passion for innovation and is comfortable partnering with operational leaders including nursing executives to roadmap and sequence projects. The role will partner with other IT teams to achieve our acute care strategy plan and assist leading various initiatives and projects including new patient engagement platforms, virtual nursing, and industry-leading AI opportunities. Provides oversight, planning, consultation, coordination and implementation leadership for the F&CH Epic Application teams. Manages all elements of the application teams under their direct reporting. Maintain a first-class team through retention and recruitment as appropriate. Oversee and be responsible for day to day operations of the group in addition to Epic Project responsibilities. Propose and manage relevant capital and operating budgets for the group. Responsible for strategic development and for overseeing large scale multi-year projects dealing with many different stakeholders including clinical, operations, and technical groups within the institution, as well as collaborating peer teams with matrix reporting.
Requirements
- Five or more years experience in healthcare information technology is required.
- Prior experience with Epic system implementation projects is required.
- Two years of management experience including supervision of employees and budgetary responsibilities is preferred.
- Direct experience in health care delivery (nurse, nurse practitioner, physician, pharmacist, or revenue cycle profession) is preferred.
- Bachelors Degree in Clinical discipline, Computer Science or Healthcare related field or acquired through a combination of education and experience.
- Epic Patient Access Manager or Supervisor experience across multiple applications: ClinDoc, ASAP, Orders, Beaker, Willow, Beacon, OpTime, Anesthesia, or Stork.
- Epic Certifications in one or more modules is required.

- Preferredare certifications or proficiencies across Inpatient, Ambulatory, Ancillary, Patient Access, or Revenue Cycle Applications.
