SHIFT: Monday through Friday with the flexibility and availability to work rotating shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed. ROLE SUMMARY: Our Supply group is responsible for brewing, packaging and shipping the famous Budweiser beer. They also oversee aluminum can manufacturing, barley fields, hop farms and a rice mill. Life in supply is non-stop action with high-speed lines, tight production schedules and unbelievably high-quality standards. This is a place where we measure productivity in seconds, not hours, days or weeks. Paramount in all of this is a commitment to safety above all else and social responsibility. 99.8% of everything that enters our breweries is either completely used in the process or recycled. We also dedicate those big, high-speed lines to help our communities during times of disaster by packaging cans of emergency drinking water. Our customers expect the best and the Supply team provides it! This role will be a leader in the aluminum can manufacturing plant with a focus on the chemical operations involved in the process. This leader will have a group of direct reports that are responsible for the sustainability of their processes.

Requirements

  • 1 - 3 years of Mechanical/Industrial experience preferred
  • Proven troubleshooting/critical thinking ability
  • Familiarity with Can Operations
  • Great organization skills related to project management
  • Management experience in manufacturing environment
  • Requires prolonged sitting, standing and walking.
  • Experience with SAP strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support safety initiatives and awareness in assigned areas
  • Foster ownership for the use of VPO tools to sustain and improve assigned area’s KPIs.
  • Responsible for the Safety, Quality, Production and Cost performance of assigned area
  • Schedules and manages Maintenance Tasks at the plant level (Trials, major breakdowns, plant shutdown, and take advantage of unplanned downtime)
  • Responsible for leading area PDCA/ITF initiatives
  • Lead area team engagement initiatives and drive Team Member led engagement
  • Responsible for managing contractor and vendor labor within the Operations department.
  • Provide technical leadership to solve medium to long range process-based problems in a specific area of operations
  • Track and report on equipment uptime, maintenance specific metrics, and cost performance and initiate processes to control costs
  • Analyze raw material usage data and coordinate with line owners to identify usage trends and to develop performance improvement initiatives
  • Champion Equipment Good Operating Practices (GOPs)
  • Lead learning and development initiatives to improve the technical knowledge and skill set of operators and technicians within area of expertise.
  • Develop and maintain operating standards for area of expertise.
  • Promote and enforce effective change management for new materials or equipment used/installed in area of expertise.
  • Develop, Document, & Implement process improvements to make the teams more effective and efficient.
  • Execute capital plan for area including equipment overhauls and upgrades.
  • Point of contact for all Technical Related Problems
