The Manager Business Development is responsible for leading project/business development activities in identifying and cultivating various market opportunities, while also developing strategies to capture them in conjunction with business strategies. This role is also responsible for making project assignments and delegating work within the group, providing mentorship with sophisticated business development issues. As a Manager of Business Development- Power Innovation, your typical day will revolve around driving strategic growth in power generation. You will start by reviewing origination opportunities and advancing project development initiatives, ensuring each step aligns with long-term goals. Throughout the day, you will engage with hyperscalers and co-locators, building strong relationships and negotiating terms that will lead to successful conversions into long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs). Your role will demand a blend of business acumen and commercial expertise—whether you are pitching new concepts, navigating complex negotiations, or leveraging deep industry knowledge to close deals.
