Okaloosa Youth Academy is a non-secure, certified juvenile justice residential facility for males located in Crestview, FL. The mission of Okaloosa Youth Academy is to increase public safety by reducing juvenile delinquency in Florida through effective prevention, intervention and treatment services that strengthen families and turn around the lives of troubled youth. Okaloosa employs dedicated professionals whose goals are to help youth develop competencies valued by the community through therapeutic and educational programming in a secure, structured environment and to promote successful transition into the community. We are currently seeking a Manager of Behavioral Health Services. The Manager regularly ensures the safety and security of the facility at all times by monitoring the movement of units, ensuring programming is followed, assisting in the training and development of direct care staff (MHT’s) and following policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma Required
  • 3-5 years experience working with at risk youth
  • Must be able to pass DJJ background screen and pre-employment drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred
  • Staffing/scheduling experience preferred

Responsibilities
