Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in IT with 8-14 years of IT experience, depending on the level of education
• 7-10 years of job-related experience, preferably in IT/Digital Health
• Experience in Microsoft Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Budgetary knowledge and ability to manage financial resources
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving acumen

Nice To Haves

• Previous management experience and/or industry certifications preferred
• Preference for local candidates within 200 miles of Dayton Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Act as Applications Manager/Clinical Portfolio leading Clinical Portfolio Epic application teams including ClinDoc, Beaker and OpTime
• Serve as Product Owner for inpatient clinical documentation, partnering with operations to establish roadmaps and priorities
• Manage and develop DH&T technical staff in support of strategic initiatives
• Balance staff assignments across a wide range of initiatives and support duties
• Maintain core project management skills
• Translate Premier Health strategy to staff
• Manage departmental budget
• Oversee hiring, staffing, and staff development
• Implement documentation and policy management
• Promote departmental succession planning
• Ensure achievement of project outcomes
• Leading and managing a team of 15-20 direct reports in a clinically focused IT environment
• Potential for leadership on-call responsibilities, which may require you to be on-site occasionally.
