Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in IT with 8-14 years of IT experience, depending on the level of education
- 7-10 years of job-related experience, preferably in IT/Digital Health
- Experience in Microsoft Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Budgetary knowledge and ability to manage financial resources
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving acumen
Nice To Haves
- Previous management experience and/or industry certifications preferred
- Preference for local candidates within 200 miles of Dayton Ohio.
- Potential for leadership on-call responsibilities, which may require you to be on-site occasionally.
Responsibilities
- Act as Applications Manager/Clinical Portfolio leading Clinical Portfolio Epic application teams including ClinDoc, Beaker and OpTime
- Serve as Product Owner for inpatient clinical documentation, partnering with operations to establish roadmaps and priorities
- Manage and develop DH&T technical staff in support of strategic initiatives
- Balance staff assignments across a wide range of initiatives and support duties
- Maintain core project management skills
- Translate Premier Health strategy to staff
- Manage departmental budget
- Oversee hiring, staffing, and staff development
- Implement documentation and policy management
- Promote departmental succession planning
- Ensure achievement of project outcomes
- Leading and managing a team of 15-20 direct reports in a clinically focused IT environment
