About The Position

Brown University Health is looking for an enthusiastic, Scheduling Coordinator for our Revenue Cycle department supporting radiology and imaging patients. Requirements

• Knowledge of imaging and radiology terminology and procedures is a plus
• Requires appropriate time management skills.

• High School graduate or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of college or secretarial school, medical terminology, and computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling of patients into the Imaging Department for diagnostic exams from internal and external referrals.
• Communicating with patients and provider practice personnel by telephone and electronic means.
• Answering phone calls from provider practice staff and patients regarding procedures that need to be scheduled or re-scheduled.
• Ensuring accurate information is in all records and systems.
