SUMMARY: Responsible for performing daily cleaning and supplying of offices and patient areas including cleaning walls, lights, windows, vents, floors, carpets. Performs in accordance with the facility's policies and procedures. Follows the facility's standards for ethical business conduct. Conducts self as a positive role model and team member. Participates in facility committees, meetings, in-services, and activities. The core Success Factors include: Instill Trust and Value Differences Patient and Community Focus and Collaborate RESPONSIBILITIES: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assembles cleaning supplies and equipment and cleans floors, rooms and offices following established schedules and methods. Replaces disposables. Shampoos, and vacuums carpets for cleaning and bacteria control, removes spots from carpets. Assists in cleaning emergency spills as observed or requested. Sanitizes and sterilizes clinic areas. Washes ceilings, walls, floors, lights, windows, fixtures, mirrors, counters, office equipment and vents. Dry and wet mops floors in uncarpeted offices and rooms, scrubs and buffs floor with rotaryutomatic machines. Transports trash and soiled linen from collection points to designated area and distributes fresh linen. Moves furniture to clean. Dusts surfaces, damp-wipes furniture, and polishes metal and porcelain fixtures in bathrooms. Daily, checks supplies and orders replacements. Maintains equipment in a clean and orderly manner, restock supplies as needed. Identifies and reports any unsafe/unsanitary conditions to Supervisor. Meets with Housekeeping Team Leader on a regular basis to confer on special cleaning needs, problems and work schedule. Attends required meetings and participates in committees as requested. Enhances professional growth and development though in-service meetings and education programs. Other duties as assigned.
