Position Summary In your role as a MFG Operations Specialist you'll be part of the team working to help start up one of the most advanced manufacturing facilities in US. You're role will focus on all aspects of suppling the fab with critical items key for employees to work inside the clean room area of the fab. You'll be responsible to keep inventory supplies stocked and available for staffing that enter and exit the fab on a daily basis; and you'll be responsible for ordering, staging and dispersing consumables to all personnel needing them to for their operations in the fab.

Requirements

  • High‑school diploma or GED is required.
  • Prior experience with documentation, record keeping, invoicing and PO generation, budgeting and inventory management is a plus.
  • Computer literacy is a must (at least basic skills in MS Excel and MS Word).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • All positions at Samsung Austin Semiconductor require you to be onsite.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate ordering, receiving, stocking and handout of fab related and shipment related consumables. Includes active communication with registered vendors to obtain quotations and negotiate pricing & delivery in Samsung best's interest.
  • Coordinate PO generation, invoicing, GR activities with precision and escalate immediately when needed.
  • Manage Good Issue / Goods Transferred (GI/GT) activities daily and ensure numbers tally and escalate immediately when needed.
  • Support peripheral tasks like asset verifications, wafer audits, new consumable testing, SOP maintenance and renewals and vendor onboarding.
  • Help generate reports on daily operations and document changes.
