About The Position

The MFG Functional Technician Lead is a hands-on support role responsible for maintaining operational excellence across manufacturing operations. This position combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities to ensure efficient production workflows, workplace organization, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing efforts, transportation/logistics and/or fulfillment/distribution centers
Experience interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings
3-5 years of hands-on manufacturing experience
Proficiency in machine setup and operation
Experience with assembly processes and workflow optimization

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of global environmental, health and safety regulations
Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments
Knowledge of engineering documentation, electrical diagrams and standard operating procedures
Previous experience leading manufacturing initiatives or small teams

Responsibilities

Set up machines for production runs as needed
Configure and optimize assembly workflows
Fabricate parts and components to support shop operations
Partner with facilities, engineering, and operations teams on construction projects
Contribute to layout revisions and workspace optimization initiatives
Provide technical input on manufacturing space planning
Perform machine setups and changeovers
Troubleshoot equipment and process issues
Support production teams with technical guidance
