Minimum 2-year technical degree or equivalent and 5-10 years of dimensional measurement experience with a wide variety of measuring equipment including major instruments such as CMM, vision, or form.
Must have working experience with Microsoft Office Suite, i.e., Excel and WORD.

Ability to inspect customer’s parts using hand tools.

Responsibilities

Perform inspection of customer parts by operating CMM, Vision and Form measuring equipment.
Develop and edit basic part programs on CMM, Vision and Form equipment.
Perform inspection of customer parts using a variety of hand tools and surface plate inspection tools.
Maintain measuring equipment and calibration status in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
Interface with customers as needed.
Perform customer product runoffs.
Be able to ship/receive products.
Assist in the day-to-day paperwork as needed.
Assist management with maintaining ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation.
Assist in internal audits of the laboratory quality system.
Assist in the development and documentation of standard operating procedures.
