About The Position

Position Summary: Perform functions to manage measurement service operations and Enhanced Services employees in the Metrology Service Center, provide metrology programming as a service, and measure customer parts in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements. Requirements

Minimum 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience. 4-year technical degree preferred.
7-10 years of experience as a Programmer.
Proficient in three product lines.
Knowledge of aerospace, automotive, and medical industry specifications
Ability to program from 2D prints and 3D CAD models
Experience with FAI and PPAP processes
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Proficiency in GD&T and ASME Y14.5M-2009 standards
Understanding of SPC principles
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong time management and organizational

Responsibilities

Manage measurement service operations and Enhanced Services employees at the Metrology Service Center.
Participate in the development of departmental goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and the Quality Manual.
Participate in development of measurement parts programs using Mitutoyo software and metrology equipment, including coordinate measuring machines (CMM), vision systems, and form instruments.
Develop and implement measurement methods based on engineering design (GD&T) and available equipment.
Perform part inspections, analyze measurement data, and prepare reports in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
Train and mentor metrology programmers and technicians.
Communicate with customers and support quotation activities for metrology programming and measurement services.
Partner with the Sales Department to support product demonstrations, customer training, and open house events at the facility.
Maintain control and calibration of all measuring equipment in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements, in collaboration with the Corporate Quality Manager.
Assist with the preparation and submission of departmental reports.
