Metrology Programmer Position Summary The Programmer will be responsible for creating automated inspection measurement routines per prints conform to all print requirements and our Quality Management System requirements. Shift: 1st Shift Monday - Friday
Requirements
- 2 years of experience programming automated inspection equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent mechanical dexterity and hand and eye coordination
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Medical manufacturing experience
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry (FDA, ISO)
Responsibilities
- Create automated inspection programs and routines for various equipment
- Edit automated programs
- Maintain the file system for all revision-controlled programs
- Assist employees with interpretation of reports to expediate needed CNC code corrections
- Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T concepts
