About The Position

ID Plans combines human talent and online technology to create interactive site plans for property managers. We create the “owners manual” for commercial properties such as shopping malls and strip centers as well as complete profiles for vacant commercial spaces for leasing. Our field teams detail the location of every outlet, light, air conditioning unit, faucet, electric meter, ceiling tile, wall measurement, exit, sprinkler, access point and more. The Meter Specialist upholds ID Plan’s high project standard and completes a meter audit that will be included on the final project. The meter process includes communication with field teams, utility companies, and the Quality Assurance Specialists working to ensure the meter information is complete and accurate for the customer. Responsibilities Communication and follow-up is the key to success for the Meter Specialist. Tasks include:

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills across multiple organizational levels and with a diverse group of team members.
  • Strong computer skills including the use of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent spelling, grammar and punctuation skills.
  • Ability to be tenacious and at the same time patient in order to complete the meter verification process.

Responsibilities

  • Contacting utility companies customer service departments to confirm the electric, gas and water meters gathered by the ID Plans field teams.
  • Sending professional written requests to utility companies if unable to verify meters verbally.
  • Reviewing projects and making certain that all tenants have an electric and water meter/source.
  • Assign tenants with electric, gas and water meter numbers on the project.
  • Communicate politely and professionally with ID Plans field team and Quality Assurance Specialists in order to ensure that any meter questions are complete before delivery to the customer.
  • Inputting the confirmed meter information into the project so that the information is customer ready.
  • Update meter information and include notes in CRM for the Quality Assurance Specialists.
  • Meet meter deadlines.
  • Respond to questions regarding meter information from various sources.
  • Keep track of project flow through CRM and other methods.
  • Help and communicate with fellow team members.
