About The Position

The Meter Reader position is responsible for accurately reading and transcribing information from metered propane gas systems throughout multiple PepUp districts.

Requirements

• Must have valid driver’s license
• Must be able to walk approximately 5 to 8 or more miles per day
• Desire to grow and accelerate with the company
• Good customer relations
• Must have a positive, upbeat attitude

Responsibilities

• Read and record customer propane meters to help determine usage, using a handheld computer or another collection device.
• Complete assigned routes and work orders on the assigned date.
• Wear all assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and request replacements when necessary.
• Follows safety, quality, and operational procedures.
• Identifies hazards or unsafe conditions at meter sites and reports accordingly.
• Show courtesy and professionalism when dealing with customers and other employees.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
