About The Position

The successful candidate will provide a high degree of technical expertise needed to produce a quality product at a competitive cost.
Based on his/her experience working with equipment, practices, customers and people, this person has responsibility for problem solving, developing and controlling quality standards, fabricating practices, and instructing and training the appropriate personnel.
He/she also may assist or coordinate in the design and developments of new technical processes/equipment to provide a quality product.
This position requires the ability to work weekends and off shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• 3 years of experience in a technical/operational support role within a manufacturing environment
• Quality control or technical support experience for hot rolling, cold rolling, or sheet heat treatment operations
• Experience with automotive customers
• SAP system or similar systems
• Excellent computer skills including use of Microsoft Office
• Proficient with spreadsheets, including Excel
• Knowledge of ABS or Lean Manufacturing principles
