Metallurgical Lab Technician

Commercial Heat Treater looking for someone that is precise, detailed, and has good record keeping skills. They must also have general computer skills and be able to interface with customers and suppliers. Experience preferred but not required. We will provide training.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a Drug screening and background check.
Responsibilities
- Mechanical testing of metals including hardness and micro hardness
- Understands various specifications including Nadcap; AS-9100 D; Military; ASTM; and AMS.
- Cold and hot mounting of test pieces
- Micro & Macro evaluation
- Sample prep for test specimens
- Responsible for all required record keeping
- Experience with Excel
