About The Position

This position provides high level technical knowledge and plant wide leadership
for metallurgical requirements of Lancaster products. The position leads the
Location in establishing product availabilities and metallurgical practices,
leading the Location New Product Development efforts, and providing oversight
for disposition of non-conforming product and claims. The position supervises
the Product Metallurgical Engineering Team, including Product Metallurgical
Engineers and Hourly Metallurgical Technicians. This position requires close
customer contact, with the expectation that travel to a customer’s location to
resolve claims and assist in new product development will at times be required.
