POSITION: WELDER - METAL CUTTER COMPANY PROFILE: HOLLY HUNT is known for a look that is consistently at the forefront of style and quality. The company designs, produces and showcases custom made furniture products. POSITION PROFILE: Performs bronze-aluminum cutting and welding for furniture units.
Requirements
- 2+ years previous experience of metal cutting and welding:
- Tig welding
- Braze welding
- Reading and understanding product specifications.
- Proficient using equipment and hand tools such:
- Grinder.
- Bench saw.
- Band saw.
- Drill press.
- Comfortable working in a fast paced team environment while managing multiple projects.
- Strong attention to detail and flawless results.
- Ability to communicate with multiple levels within an organization and be a team member
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED), or work experience which demonstrates performance competency
Responsibilities
- Metal cutting/prepping/welding: Product completion per Production Schedule
- Meet all critical product characteristics and dimensions.
- Maintain work station clean, organized and safe.
- Use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required.
- Maintain the time sheet accurate and on time.
- Observe all company policies and standard practices.
- Participate on all required continuous improvement activities.
