About The Position

Allied Universal® Janitorial Services, an Allied Universal® Company, is hiring a Metal – Apprentice 1. The Metal Apprentice 1 will perform cleaning and maintenance for various metals as prescribed by routine and custom metal maintenance programs. Allied Universal Janitorial Services is a Union signatory, in good standing, of the Painters District Council No. 14 IUPAT, AFL-CIO. On the job training is provided. Hiring Now! Requirements

• Valid driver’s license, if driving a company or customer supplied vehicle
• No experience required
• No prior knowledge or skills are required

Nice To Haves

• Stone restoration knowledge
• Work or training experience involving refinishing of architectural metals (revolving doors), window frames, elevators, and escalators, etc.

Responsibilities

• Clean, polish, and highlight of all types of metals
• Perform architectural bronze, stainless steel, and aluminum refinishing
• Clean and coat exterior metal curtain wall building facade
• Apply of high-performance paints and coatings
• Perform custom tailored metal maintenance programs
