About The Position

About The Role We are seeking a Metal and Mechanical Fabricator Technician with strong electrical expertise in low-voltage systems to join our manufacturing team. This role involves fabricating and assembling metal components, integrating mechanical systems, and performing electrical wiring and troubleshooting for low-voltage applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in metal fabrication, mechanical assembly, and electrical work, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. What You Will Do Fabricate, cut, weld, and assemble metal components according to engineering specifications including fabrication of various production jigs and fixtures Perform mechanical assembly of frames, enclosures, and structural components. Install and route low-voltage wiring for electrical systems and components. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Operate fabrication tools and equipment (e.g., saws, grinders, welders, bending machines). Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with design and safety standards. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies. What You Bring Associate’s degree, technical certification, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. 2-4+ years of experience in metal fabrication and mechanical assembly. Working knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems and wiring practices. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics. Proficient in using fabrication tools and electrical testing equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to lift and move heavy materials and work in a manufacturing environment. Preferred Skills: Experience with CNC machines or advanced fabrication techniques. Familiarity with industrial safety standards and OSHA compliance. Basic knowledge of PLCs or control systems. Requirements
