About The Position

Busy Sheet Metal Manufacturer is seeking a reliable Sheet Metal Fabricator to join their team! Hours Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm or 3:oopm to 2am Monday to Thursday. OVERTIME IS MANDATORY WHEN REQUIRED!!!!!!! Pay is $14 for 1st shift $15 2nd shift A Sheet Metal Fabricator job involves creating and assembling metal products by cutting, bending, and shaping sheet metal according to blueprints and specifications, often using hand and machine tools . Responsibilities

• Reading and Interpreting Blueprints: Fabricators must be able to understand and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine dimensions, shapes, and fabrication methods.
• Selecting and Preparing Materials: They select appropriate sheet metal types and thicknesses based on project requirements and prepare the metal for fabrication.
• Cutting, Bending, and Shaping Metal: Using various tools and machines (shears, brakes, presses, forming rolls), fabricators cut, bend, and shape sheet metal into the desired forms.
• Welding and Joining: They may be responsible for welding or joining metal pieces together using various welding techniques.
• Assembling and Installing: Fabricators assemble fabricated parts and install them in supportive frameworks or structures.
