About The Position

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Metallurgical Laboratory Technician who takes pride in doing things the right way. In this role, you’ll prepare and perform metallurgical testing on production samples — acting as an essential checkpoint to verify that all parts meet the highest quality and compliance standards.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Quality-focused mindset with a sharp eye for detail

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in manufacturing or quality preferred, but not necessary - we'll train you!

Responsibilities

• Perform standard metallurgical procedures on production and test samples
• Prepare samples and perform metallographic evaluation using metallurgy equipment and tools
• Evaluate welded and formed samples for compliance with engineering and quality specifications
• Record and report test results, including processing any non-conforming findings
• Perform welder certification analysis and maintain required documentation
• Follow established work instructions, drawings, and procedures
• Achieve and maintain required Operator Authorizations
• Use basic computer systems to complete transactions and documentation
