About The Position

A successful Messaging and Collaboration Administrator candidate will have: A solid understanding of exchange services management in a hybrid on-prem and cloud environment Experience with Mail Flow, Disaster Recovery, Managed Availability, Messaging Policies, Compliance, Configuring Reporting & Logging, Mailbox migrations both on prem and cloud, and a deep understanding of SMTP. The ideal candidate will have: Experience with on-prem and cloud tools to include active directory, azure active directory, Cloud Exchange Admin Center (EAC), Microsoft Entra Identity, MFCMapi, MS Purview, M365 Defender, and PowerShell scripting and remedy ticketing system. A strong troubleshooting background with the ability to assist with troubleshooting complex problems and issues with little to no supervision. Strong mentorship skills

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent, and 2 - 4 years of related experience
  • Security+, or other qualifying IAT II certification.
  • Microsoft 365 Administrator MS-102 certification within 120 days.
  • Active Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Release of Electronically Stored Information (ESI) and Negligent Discharge of Classified Information (NDCI) information gathering and cleanup
  • Managing user accounts in AD/Azure AD
  • Managing Distribution lists and shared mailboxes
  • Troubleshooting outlook and cloud mailbox issues
  • Managing mailbox cloud licenses
  • Provide troubleshooting and policy documentation to base customers
  • Remedy Incident, Work Order, Task, and Change request resolution
  • Operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of O365 Cloud environment
  • Working with Tier III and other Tier II support groups
  • Working with Microsoft to troubleshoot system issues
  • Ability to use Active Directory and Exchange tools for troubleshooting
  • Using PowerShell cmdlets and scripts to manage Exchange
  • Microsoft TEAMS support
  • Support junior technicians and mentor them professionally
