The MES Program Manager will oversee the implementation and management of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) in Greensboro, NC. This role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management skills, along with a proven ability to manage complex programs involving multiple cross-functional projects. The candidate should possess strong domain knowledge of manufacturing and an understanding of the complete life cycle implementation of MES.

  • Oversee the implementation and management of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
  • Drive strategic objectives and business process standards across the organization.
  • Collaborate with a matrix team of Business Process Owners (BPOs), IT/OT teams, and external software providers to execute MES initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment, transparency, and collaboration across diverse teams.
  • Coordinate the adoption, development, and support of MES systems, providing training and assisting with system enhancements.
  • Understand manufacturing processes and systems, making informed recommendations for optimal configuration and enhancing manufacturing performance.
  • Work closely with project sponsors and cross-functional teams to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives.
  • Manage workforce and resource allocation.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for managers and stakeholders.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path items while ensuring project quality and utilizing and following appropriate methodologies.
  • 10 - 19 years of experience in program/project management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex programs with multiple cross-functional projects.
  • Strong domain knowledge of Manufacturing or understanding of complete life cycle implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
  • Understanding of ANSI/ISA-95 Manufacturing Operations Model.
  • Understanding of functionalities in Manufacturing Execution Systems.
