About The Position

This role will be responsible for actively leading all merchandising activities in Travel Retail Americas for a selection of Beauty brands. Responsibilities will include implementing non-permanent in store installations, by coordinating/tracking/reporting on these activities while maximizing in-store brand visibility and improving consistency across all channels. The team is composed of six members: three Temporary Retail Design Managers, one Permanent Retail Design Manager, and one Permanent Retail Design Specialist, all reporting to the Senior Retail Design Manager. They work closely with multiple departments, including Marketing, Commercial, Retail Sales, Finance, and Global TR. All your colleagues are part of a collaborative, fast-paced, and creative team where cross-functional communication and agility are essential. The team brings together expertise in visual merchandising, retail execution, marketing strategy, and operations, enabling seamless planning and delivery of high-impact in-store experiences. Members demonstrate a strong commercial mindset, are flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, and ensure brand consistency while maximizing commercial performance across all channels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Design, or a business-related field; fluent in English and Spanish (French a plus).
  • Autonomous and proactive, able to take full ownership of projects across categories (fragrance, skincare, makeup).
  • Strong project management skills, able to manage multiple cross-functional initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop or other design tools; able to read and interpret CAD/3D drawings. (No technical drawing skills necessary, just the ability to read / approve / refuse them)
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, with excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude.

  • Experience in visual merchandising, retail operations, marketing, or Travel Retail in the beauty industry.
  • Strong vendor management skills, including fixture and print suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • Create temporary in-store installations and breakthrough animations, managing the full design and approval process with internal teams, retailers, and production vendors.
  • Develop and communicate clear guidelines, planograms, merchandising tools, and creative assets to ensure perfect in-store execution aligned with brand and regional strategy.
  • Coordinate production, artwork sharing, retailtainment initiatives, and POS digitalization while supporting promotions and tracking execution through the TRIP app.
  • Manage forecasting and ordering of global merchandising items, ensuring availability, accuracy, and alignment with launch plans and commercial priorities.
  • Own the merchandising budget, tracking spending, calculating ROI for animations, and overseeing all PO and invoice processes with the finance team.
