About The Position

Our 8-week Merchandising Internship is designed to give emerging talent a hands-on, holistic understanding of how merchandising drives business performance. Interns will work cross-functionally with merchandising, product data, purchasing, and other supporting teams to learn how product decisions are made—and how those decisions influence the customer experience and overall business strategy. Throughout the program, interns will gain exposure to both the analytical and strategic sides of merchandising, participate in team meetings, and contribute to real business initiatives. Rotational Experience (~6-7 Weeks) Intern will rotate through multiple teams in two-week increments, offering broad exposure to the end-to-end merchandising process. Rotations may include: Merchandising – Assortment planning, category analysis, pricing, promotions, vendor strategy, sample management Product Data / Item Setup – Learning item lifecycle processes, product onboarding, data accuracy, and system workflows Cross-Functional Partners – Collaborating with teams such as GTM, Supplier engagement, Marketing, Supply Chain or E commerce to understand how merchandising decisions impact other business functions During each rotation, interns will have opportunities to shadow team members, assist with ongoing tasks, and gain insight into how data and insights translate into business action. Capstone Project The program concludes with an individual project that integrates learnings from all rotations. Interns will analyze a real merchandising challenge and present recommendations to company leaders. Projects may include: Category performance deep dives Competitive or trend analysis Product optimization or assortment improvement proposals Process enhancement recommendations

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Merchandising, or Analytics,
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new systems and processes
  • Comfort working with data and drawing insights
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments
  • Balanced and agile mind that can work in both left and right brain environments
