(YouTube, Instagram, TikTok) Position Summary: Our CK Global Off Price Merchandising Apparel team, is seeking a highly strategic and collaborative Merchandiser to drive our product strategy, assortment architecture, and Line Development Process. Execute strategies that balance global brand vision while delivering on internal financial targets and regional sales goals. You will be the crucial link between our commercial and product teams, collaborating and communicating closely with cross functional teams such as the Global Merchandising, Sales, and Planning, ensuring our offerings meet market demand, financial goals, and account needs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years proven experience in apparel merchandising, preferably within a fast-paced wholesale environment.
  • Deep understanding of the product lifecycle, from initial concept to market delivery.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing margin goals and optimizing assortments for profitability.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse cross-functional teams (Sales, Design, Planning, Supply).
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a comprehensive range plan.
  • Highly organized with a meticulous approach to data, reporting, and maintaining a change log.
  • Experience in presenting to and partnering with Sales and external accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product strategy and assortment architecture from conception through to market readiness.
  • Act as the primary bridge between commercial (Sales, Planning) and product (Design, Supply) teams.
  • Participate in all milestone meetings throughout the seasonal calendar cycle as the voice for the Wholesale Off Price North American market, ensuring NA is taken into consideration with decision making that impacts global distribution
  • Manage global and internal calendar milestones for respective businesses to ensure deadlines are met in a timely manner
  • Develop a comprehensive market specific range plan in close partnership with the Sales and Planning teams to ensure all account requirements are proactively captured.
  • Provide first-hand knowledge at the SKU-level of collections, seasonal strategies and key initiatives for the North America market to capitalize on and drive the business
  • Share the finalized range plan with the Cross-Functional Team (CFT) to ensure alignment across the organization.
  • Build compelling product assortments (in partnership with Design & Supply) that align with account needs, market demand, margin goals, and the seasonal brand strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to effectively tailor product assortments for specific wholesale accounts in North America.
  • Maintain a detailed change log throughout the internal Sketch Review and Proto Review meetings.
  • Author specific product and hierarchy attributes and manage updates to this data throughout the entire product lifecycle.
  • Partner with Sales at key checkpoints, including Account Sketch Review and Proto Pre-Line, to present and refine assortments based on customer feedback.
  • Analyze and report on selling and market trends
  • Create the initial sales tool set up (e.g., linesheets, catalogs) for Market.
  • Shepherd the late add process and orchestrate issue resolution to ensure new styles are integrated efficiently.
