About The Position

Legends Global Merchandise is a recognized leader in retail and merchandising worldwide, providing a fully customized, customer-centric, omnichannel shopping experience for fans. Their vertical service solution offers the latest trends, styles, designs, and brand collaborations across various categories for in-venue, e-commerce, and pop-up operations. Legends aims to create a unique shopping experience by building a tailored retail portfolio based on each property and operating as an extension of the client's brand. The retail employees are responsible for creating the ultimate experience for fans, prioritizing a legendary experience, and exceeding expectations in customer service, merchandise display, and attention to detail. This role involves supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Legends & ASM policies, including taking direction from the Store Manager, planning, assigning, and delegating tasks, and resolving customer service issues within the store and its ingress/egress.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to work in a team environment, move fast, and act on assigned duties
  • Must be flexible to work all events including late nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Energetic, self-motivated, friendly personality, and excellent guest services skills are required
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced and continuously changing environment
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Some college preferred
  • 2 years of merchandise experience preferred or related customer service experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide an exciting, positive, and fun environment for our diverse team & fan base
  • Perform inventory & maintain proper inventory levels while sustaining an organized sales floor and stock room.
  • Ensure proper cash handling procedures are in effect at all times.
  • Assist management of performance of the store by preparing and communicating goals.
  • Communicating progress or opportunities for improvement to provide effective feedback.
  • Assist in the development of programs that result in increased customer satisfaction.
  • Work with visual displays and merchandising of stands.
  • Setting up displays to best attract customers' attention.
  • Maintain product and service quality standards and anticipate customer needs/concerns.
  • Perform other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as required.
  • Supervises an entire aspect of the retail business (e.g. warehouse operations, main store operations, or heat press operations) under direct leadership from management
  • Occasionally supervises & assigns tasks to other FT & PT supervisors as well as non-supervisor PT staff
  • Train, track, & discipline other staff, including FT & PT supervisors & non-supervisors
  • Responsibilities may also include assisting as support for events on the Georgia Tech campus
