About The Position

The Merchandise Specialist is responsible for overseeing and executing all aspects of retail and merchandise operations to deliver a best-in-class guest experience. This role manages product selection, inventory control, merchandising strategy, e-commerce operations, and staff development across multiple retail outlets. The position requires strong business acumen, operational leadership, and the ability to drive revenue while maintaining high standards of service, compliance, and brand integrity.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail merchandising, inventory management, or multi-unit retail operations
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in retail systems, inventory tools, and Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

  • At least 3 years' experience with merchandising and retail management of multiple facilities.
  • Knowledge of concessions or related work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, select, and purchase merchandise aligned with guest preferences, client objectives, and brand standards.
  • Develop and execute merchandising plans across all retail outlets to maximize sales and visual impact.
  • Support and manage aspects of the Authentic Collection program.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels through forecasting, tracking, and replenishment strategies.
  • Develop and implement warehousing processes to ensure accessibility, organization, and accountability.
  • Conduct period-end inventory counts and reconciliation.
  • Recommend and oversee preventative maintenance programs to protect company assets.
  • Manage retail website operations, including product uploads, page updates, and merchandising.
  • Support fulfillment processes and coordinate with operations teams.
  • Assist with digital marketing initiatives, including promotions and social campaigns.
  • Execute accounting procedures related to merchandise operations, including reporting and reconciliation.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all cash handling and internal control procedures.
  • Create and deliver training programs focused on guest service, inventory control, and cash handling.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance management, and career development support.
  • Maintain product and service quality standards through continuous evaluation.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • All other duties as assigned.
