About The Position

imogene + willie is introducing a planner to our merchandise and production team. This person will assist in the planning lifecycle of each season analyzing sales, budgeting, maintaining the OTB, store allocations, etc. Working closely with our production, ecommerce, store, and warehouse teams on a daily basis. This full-time in-person role is based in our Nashville, TN headquarters offices and reports to the Director of Production and Merchandise Planning.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in fashion planning.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel
  • Strong understanding of retail math and financial metrics
  • Must be an inspiring team player and thrive in a very fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Run and analyze weekly, monthly, quarterly selling recaps by department, having a strong understanding of product and category performance.
  • Manage misc. selling recaps/analysis based on needs of the business
  • Organize receipts by month/department for OTB
  • Update and manage OTB on a monthly basis
  • Plan Budgets annually and seasonally for sales, margin, receipts, inventory positions
  • Calculate size breaks for all production orders
  • Create PO’s for new and repeat orders
  • Update delivery needs based off of selling/company directionSupport the management of inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels across various categories are met
  • Have a full understanding of the collection and adapt with changes
  • Bi-weekly allocate stores stock ensuring newness is delivered timely.
  • Establish, maintain and support healthy and communicative relationships with our logistics, production, and ecommerce teams.
  • Work with ecommerce team to optimize assortment and replenishments
  • Communicate and troubleshoot daily on all ongoing planning efforts, working across teams in problem solving.
  • Assist in the implementation of a new PLM system.
