About The Position

Anthropologie is looking for a Merchandise Planner who will maximize sales by developing sound merchandise plans that support company goals for sales, turn and margin.

Requirements

• Five or more years of experience in a Planning or Allocation Analysis role.
• Expert command of retail math concepts and applications
• Strong statistical analysis skills
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent organizational, prioritizing and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• Technical skill proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel

Nice To Haves

• Some experience in buying or store management is a plus.
• Bachelor's in Finance or Business related degree preferred

Responsibilities

• OTB Management Sales/Markdowns/Receipts/IMU/Gross Margin Forecasting based on current sales trend using O9 Planning
• Attribute Planning Summarize weekly, monthly, quarterly performance vs plan at class & attribute levels & propose action points
• Style Count Productivity Analysis Establish & maintain style count plans by channel & store cluster
• Support buying and production team with system and views needed
• Seasonal hindsights analysis to help support future buy plans
• Supporting buying with attribute, sizing & price point analysis to help build the new assortment
• Investment Review financial recaps
• Markdown & Promo forecasting, management, and execution
