About The Position

The Merchandise Assistant provides vital administrative and operational support to the Horseshoe Bay Resort buying and merchandising team. This role ensures the seamless flow of product from the loading dock to the sales floor. You will be responsible for maintaining the high visual standards of our retail outlets, ensuring inventory accuracy, and delivering exceptional service to our members and guests.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
  • 1+ year of retail or administrative experience.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and POS systems.
  • A strong interest in retail buying and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to bend, lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs .
  • Capacity to perform repetitive physical tasks including stooping, reaching, and stretching.
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods as part of a daily routine.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Inventory Processing: Receive, inspect, and prepare all new merchandise for the sales floor, ensuring items are tagged and meet quality standards.
  • Operational Support: Facilitate inventory transfers between resort outlets and manage store replenishment to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Data Integrity: Assist with maintaining accurate data within the POS and inventory management systems.
  • Visual Merchandising: Support the buying team in executing floor sets and visual displays that reflect the resort’s luxury brand.
  • Service Excellence: Provide professional and knowledgeable assistance to guests and members, ensuring a premium shopping experience.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Store Managers and the retail leadership team to meet evolving business needs.
