Full-time Hourly Position starting at $12.00 - $14.00 +tips DOE plus benefits.Located in Albuquerque, NM. Working out of The Clyde Hotel.

Requirements

  • Current New Mexico Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Server Certification required.
  • Ability to work on your feet in humid kitchen environment for eight hours or more.
  • Must be able to lift/push/reach for/carry 15+ pounds frequently.
  • Comfort with learning a point of sale systems.
  • Excellent verbal communication and ability to multitask.
  • 6 months to 1 year or equivalent combination of education and experience; high volume and/or fine dining experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience/training.

Nice To Haves

  • Barista experience a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Work under direction of Outlets Manager or Supervisor.
  • Comfort with making an assortment of coffee and specialty beverages with latte art and flair.
  • Must be able to showcase coffee making abilities upon interview
  • Communicate daily with restaurant leadership regarding job assignments and required timeframe.
  • Maintain high level of positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests.
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards at all times.
  • Answer menu questions, and offer recommendations to guests to create a memorable dining experience.
  • Comfortable with preparing different coffee beverages.
  • Check identification to ensure minimum age requirements are met for consumption of alcoholic beverages.
  • Articulate the story, inspiration, and culinary mindset of the space to our guests.
  • Handle all checks and cash according to procedures; accurately prepare tip reporting paperwork on time.
  • Other duties as assigned consistent with the functions of this position as needed at the property
  • Maintain high level of positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests.
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards at all times.
  • Passionately deliver refined, seamless service.
  • Answer menu questions, and offer recommendations to guests to create a memorable dining experience.
