About The Position

The MEP Field Manager II (Electrical) serves as DLB’s onsite field leadership representative responsible for supervising electrical construction activities for large-scale mission-critical facilities, including hyperscale data centers. Reporting to the Senior MEP Construction Manager, this role focuses on daily field management, contractor supervision, installation oversight, and coordination of electrical infrastructure including medium- and low-voltage distribution systems, switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, generators, busway, grounding systems, and associated controls infrastructure. The MEP Field Manager II (Electrical) works directly with general contractors, electrical subcontractors, equipment vendors, commissioning teams, and owner stakeholders to ensure installations meet project requirements for safety, quality, schedule, operability, and commissioning readiness. This position plays a critical role in hyperscale data center delivery environments where schedule discipline, installation quality, and operational reliability are essential. The MEP Field Manager II (Electrical) actively supervises electrical trade activities in the field, verifies installation compliance with design documents and standards, identifies risks early, and supports issue resolution to maintain construction progress. The MEP Field Manager II (Electrical) performs most daily field management responsibilities with moderate autonomy while escalating complex technical, safety, or coordination challenges to the Senior MEP Construction Manager. This role supports commissioning readiness and helps ensure electrical infrastructure is installed to support reliable startup, functional testing, and turnover to operations. The MEP Field Manager II (Electrical) will communicate and operate in line with organizational and client goals and values, as well as departmental objectives.
