About The Position

Samet's Raleigh office is seeking someone experience working with a major GC or directly with MEP Trade Contractor(s). Candidate should be a seasoned MEP Estimator with abilities at conceptual stage through bidding, willing to work on a variety of projects simultaneously. Currently, Samet is seeking an Estimator with a strong background in mechanical and electrical estimating As an Estimator / Preconstruction Project Manager for Samet, you will: Prepare detailed cost estimates, quantitative surveys, life cycle cost analysis studies and value engineering studies of mechanical/plumbing/electrical systems for institutional, commercial and/or industrial related facilities Assist other Samet team members with preparing civil, architectural and/or structural preconstruction related services, as required Assist in developing the CPM project schedule Prepare written scopes of work, detailed plan and specification reviews Conduct field inspections and coordination of project delivery MEP Preconstruction Project Manager Qualifications: A BS degree in a construction related field is required (civil engineering, construction management, construction technology, etc.) 8-10 years of Estimating in a construction environment A working knowledge of Sage Estimating Software is preferred Previous experience in estimating/project management is preferred Experience in preparing detailed energy modeling studies is preferred LEED Accredited Professional is preferred Primavera software scheduling experience is a plus Thorough working knowledge of MS Office software including MS Word, MS Excel is required Must have valid driver's license Samet is a leader in design-build construction and real estate development services headquartered in Greensboro, NC, with a market focus on Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare, Education, and Multi-Family Housing. Requirements

A BS degree in a construction related field is required (civil engineering, construction management, construction technology, etc.)
8-10 years of Estimating in a construction environment
A working knowledge of Sage Estimating Software is preferred
Previous experience in estimating/project management is preferred
Thorough working knowledge of MS Office software including MS Word, MS Excel is required
Must have valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

Experience in preparing detailed energy modeling studies is preferred
LEED Accredited Professional is preferred
Primavera software scheduling experience is a plus
