Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related Engineering fields.
  • 5 years of experience as Electrical Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Supervisor
  • Has certificate of supervisor M&E grade II
  • Proficient use of specialized software for electricity
  • Knowledge about electrical systems, installation procedures, circuits and maintenance
  • Knowledge about safety measures and standards
  • Good command in office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, …)
  • Fluent in reading, writing & speaking English is preferred
  • Good command in office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, …)
  • Can work independently under pressure
  • Can arrange to travel for inspection jobs
  • Strong leadership skills – able to lead and manage a team
  • Understanding company’s business activities.
  • Sensitive to company policies and results driven

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that all electrical installations/ review follow safety standards
  • Providing troubleshooting solutions/ design review to client in case of electrical problems
  • Evaluating the need to replace components of existing systems for client
  • Evaluating the electrical requirements and ensuring that they are fulfilled
  • Work with the engineering team to conduct site investigation and assess the technical feasibility of developing a specific infrastructure project.
  • Inspect project construction sites/ fire prevention system/ control of electric system, to follow the checklist.
  • Performs advanced fieldwork and assists with project management.
  • Always assess the risks and work in a safe manner, robustly implementing health and safety rules, instructions and systems and refuse to undertake work that compromises your safety or health.
  • Report in a timely manner all incidents including near miss and safety observations, accidents and injuries and raise any health and safety concerns with your line manager.
  • Supervise contractors to comply with construction procedures, technical procedures, acceptance procedures and product quality throughout the construction process.
  • Research, coordinate, and review appropriate site construction solutions related to mechanical and electrical aspects which are submitted by the contractor.
