About The Position

Hobby Lobby is currently searching for a MEP Designer! Responsibilities: Work directly with Architects and Engineers in design of the Mechanical and Electrical systems at different projects Review/Understand National/Local Codes to ensure corporate standards stay up to date with requirements Review Construction Documents to ensure plans & specifications communicate the overall design and corporate standard accurately Review and approve MEP equipment submittals for accuracy Assist the Property Management/Utilities group as needed with Mechanical and Electrical questions for maintaining stores Review Project Closeout documents for Mechanical install Assist Superintendents and Project Managers during build out of projects with MEP related items Coordinate Energy Management System design and installation with EMS Vendor, A&E Firm, and Field The ideal candidate will possess the following experience, skills, and attributes: A Mechanical or Electrical engineering degree or equivalent practical experience in the same related fields Energy Management knowledge and experience a plus. Computer skills with software proficiency in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work. Requirements
