About The Position

The Mental Health Worker/Mental Health Professional will work therapeutically with clients under the clinical direction of the Regional Supervisor and will maintain best practice standards.

Requirements

• Mental Health Worker: Bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field. A minimum of two years' experience in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
• Mental Health Professional: Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
• Professional licensure preferred
• Must live in/near the county
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation
• Act 33/34 clearances and FBI clearances
• Able to work a non-traditional schedule to provide 24-hour crisis intervention

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive home-based services
• Evaluate client's mental health condition based on a review of clinical information
• Develop and maintain positive working relationship with referring agency staff, schools, and community resources.
• Provide Safety and Crisis plans for all clients served
• Ensure admissions are promptly processed
• Comply with HIPAA, Mandated Reporting, Duty to Warn, and Duty to Protect Laws in all clinical work.
• Utilize Motivational Interviewing as a tool and provide monthly session recordings
• Coordinate treatment services and attend treatment meetings as needed
• Apply cultural sensitivity in clinical and professional work
• Meet or exceed clinical productivity targets
