The Briya Adult Education Mental Health Therapist is responsible for coordinating service delivery to clients with mental health concerns and providing core services such as diagnosis and assessment, counseling and psychotherapy, community support services, and group activities supporting mental health, awareness, and intervention within the Adult Education setting. This role may include providing support and training to teachers and administrators to raise mental health awareness, de-stigmatize mental health issues, support students in reducing barriers to attendance, and make connections to Social Services. The position primarily serves a Spanish-speaking community, requiring a clinician bilingual in English and Spanish. This is a unique clinical position based in a school for adults, reporting directly to a Senior Clinical Manager or a Clinical Supervisor in the Behavioral Health Clinic and working alongside the team at Briya Public Charter School.
